HUAWEI WATCH 6 Pro 46mm (CN Version)
The HUAWEI WATCH 6 Pro combines X-TAP Health Glance with heart, blood-oxygen, sleep and wellness functions in a 46mm smartwatch. IVORION offers this CN Version with the monitoring, optional research and safety functions described below. The watch and Health Glance are not medical devices; their readings and research assessments do not replace professional medical evaluation.
Health monitoring and wellness functions
Individual functions can require activation in HUAWEI Health, separate software or study enrollment, valid measurements and an eligible user profile. Availability also depends on regional services, the paired phone and software. The listed research tools provide information and risk assessments rather than diagnoses or treatment.
- X-TAP Health Glance: Hold the X-TAP window for three seconds to start a 60-second assessment. Reports can bring together up to 20 health indicators. Some results depend on separately activated medical-device software or third-party research, valid measured data and applicable eligibility.
- Heart rate and HRV: Heart-rate measurements, high- and low-heart-rate alerts, and heart-rate variability information for wellness tracking.
- Blood oxygen: Fingertip SpO2 measurements, low-blood-oxygen reminders and automatic blood-oxygen detection. Automatic detection requires the corresponding monitoring setting and is not continuous clinical monitoring.
- ECG recording and analysis: A recording takes 30 seconds. Activate ECG through an up-to-date HUAWEI Health app and follow local medical-device rules. It is not suitable for users under 18 and is not recommended for people with pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices; strong electromagnetic fields can affect readings. Results do not diagnose or treat disease and cannot detect a heart attack, blood clot, stroke or heart failure. Do not change medication based on a watch result without a clinician.
- Pulse-wave rhythm analysis: Assesses possible atrial fibrillation and premature beats after authorization in HUAWEI Health's heart-health section; automatic measurements occur at rest. For adults 18 or older; not recommended for people with other known arrhythmias, certain heart disorders, pacemakers or implanted defibrillators. This is not continuous monitoring, cannot detect every event or a heart attack, and a negative result does not rule out disease. Motion, tattoos, low skin blood flow and electromagnetic interference can affect readings. Do not take clinical action or change medication solely from a result.
- Temperature monitoring: Body-temperature measurement requires enrollment in the temperature research feature and is intended for daily checks in healthy adults 18 or older, not disease screening. Use a stable fit with dry skin and a dry watch in stable surroundings. Huawei recommends wearing the watch for 10–30 minutes at about 25 °C before measuring; ambient temperatures below 15 °C or above 35 °C can affect results.
- Heart-health research: After study enrollment, single and periodic automatic assessments can examine atrial-fibrillation and premature-beat risk. With iOS pairing, supported standalone research runs on the watch; watch-side single research measurements use pulse waves, while research ECG initiation uses the phone's HUAWEI Research app, which is unavailable on iOS. Where available, AFib-risk prediction is intended for users with an AFib history and is not supported with phones running HarmonyOS 5 or later. Research outputs are informational, not a cardiac diagnosis.
Sleep and respiratory health
- Sleep monitoring: Tracks sleep as part of the watch's wellness functions.
- Sleep-apnea detection: Uses heart-rate and SpO2 information after separate activation in HUAWEI Health, with the watch and app connected normally. Not suitable for users under 18. A result requires more than five hours of sleep wear, a heart rate above 45 bpm during that period and valid SpO2 data. This software feature does not make the entire watch a medical diagnostic device.
- Respiratory-health research: Offers lung-function evaluation and assessments of COPD and lung-infection risk after joining the study and providing the required physiological data and cough recordings. With iOS pairing, supported research runs independently on the watch because the iOS HUAWEI Research phone app is unavailable. Outputs are informational, not diagnoses or treatment.
Vascular and metabolic research
These studies require enrollment and activation through HUAWEI Research, valid data and any study-specific assessment steps. The vascular and metabolic research group excludes users under 18 and pregnant users; individual studies can have narrower eligibility. Results are for information, not medical use, diagnosis or treatment.
- Vascular-health research: Includes vascular-age, arterial-elasticity and cardiovascular-risk assessments.
- Blood-glucose health and risk research: Provides research-based risk assessments after separate enrollment and activation. It does not directly measure blood glucose or diagnose diabetes. Not suitable for users under 18 or users already diagnosed with diabetes; valid data is required for results to appear in Health Glance.
- High uric-acid research: Assessment after 3–7 days of enrolled use, with more than eight hours of daytime wear and more than six hours of nighttime wear each day.
- High-blood-pressure risk research: Requires a completed assessment after 24 hours of effective wear, including more than seven daytime hours and more than six nighttime hours. This watch does not measure blood pressure. Blood-pressure values shown in a Health Glance report can come from manual entries or another compatible measuring device, rather than measurements by the watch.
- Coronary-heart-disease research: Announced for a future over-the-air software update. Separate study enrollment, activation and valid data will be required; research results will be informational rather than diagnostic.
Women's health
- Menstrual-cycle management: Menstrual-cycle tracking as a wellness tool.
- Women's-health research: Includes ovarian-function and polycystic-ovary-risk assessments. Enrollment, accurate personal details, a completed questionnaire and a profile identifying a female user are required. An assessment round takes 14–35 days and requires at least 14 qualifying nights within 35 days, outside menstruation, predicted menstruation and pregnancy; Huawei recommends wearing the watch at least five days per week. Report items depend on supported software. With iOS pairing, supported research runs independently on the watch; the iOS HUAWEI Research phone app is unavailable. Results are informational, not a diagnosis or treatment.
Daily wellness and health summaries
- Health Summary and Health Insights: Health summaries, morning reports and physical-readiness information. AI Health Insights analyze multiple fitness and health data dimensions; AI-generated results and suggestions are informational and are not a basis for diagnosis or treatment.
- Emotional wellbeing and stress: Emotional-health tracking, stress monitoring and guided breathing exercises for everyday wellness.
- Multidimensional emotional-health research: Studies pleasure, activation level, emotional energy, emotional stability and perceived emotional control. Requires enrollment through the phone's HUAWEI Research app and a normal Bluetooth and HUAWEI Health connection. This particular study is unavailable with iOS; the standalone-watch path for other research does not apply. Results are informational, not a mental-health diagnosis or treatment.
- Multidimensional Health and Healthy Living: Everyday wellness and healthy-living tools, without a diagnosis or guaranteed health outcome.
- Weight-management support: Fat-loss and body-shaping management tools, without a guaranteed weight-loss result.
- Activity and exercise: More than 100 exercise modes, Activity Rings, automatic recognition of walking, running and outdoor cycling, and short exercise sessions. Sport-specific restrictions and announced software-update requirements are detailed below.
- Family Space: Family health-data sharing. Family location sharing is announced for a future software update, and location queries are not supported with iOS.
Altitude and safety functions
- Altitude Care and altitude-health research: Altitude wellness support and a combined altitude-sickness-risk assessment. Research requires study enrollment, questionnaires or subjective reports, and the required physiological measurements. Supported standalone watch use is available with iOS pairing. These tools do not guarantee safety at altitude, prevent altitude illness or provide professional rescue.
- Fall detection and SOS: Enable fall detection and wear the watch correctly. Operation depends on settings, connection and network access; the watch can miss falls or respond to vigorous movement. SOS text messages are not supported with iOS. It is not a professional emergency device.
- Safety Guard: Sharing location and physical-status information with a chosen guardian is announced for a future over-the-air update. Availability and transmission depend on settings, connection and network access. It is not professional emergency equipment and may not detect every unusual stop or provide an accurate location.
Key features
- 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with 466 × 466 resolution and a Huawei laboratory peak brightness of 3500 nits.
- Aerospace-grade titanium-alloy front case, ceramic rear case and spherical synthetic sapphire glass.
- X-TAP Health Glance can assemble up to 20 health indicators in 60 seconds; activation and valid data are required for some results, and the report is not a diagnosis.
- eSIM calling through a supported carrier's activated number-sharing or standalone-number service; regional carrier compatibility must be checked.
- Dual-band GPS and an outdoor exploration app with route import, return navigation and waypoint retracing.
- Battery saver offers up to 11 days of light use in Huawei testing, with connected and smart functions restricted.
Titanium, ceramic and a clear display
The 46mm design pairs a titanium-alloy front case with a ceramic back rather than using one material throughout. Spherical synthetic sapphire glass covers the 1.5-inch display, which has a 466 × 466 resolution and 310 PPI. Huawei measured a 3500-nit peak with an 80% APL test image; screen brightness changes with the surroundings.
Calls and apps with CN service requirements
eSIM service can support calls without relying on a nearby phone connection, subject to carrier activation, coverage and plan support. Number-sharing and standalone-number services have different messaging and plan arrangements. Huawei's linked activation guidance covers mainland-China carriers, so overseas eSIM compatibility should be confirmed with the intended carrier before purchase.
HarmonyOS 7.0 supports watch apps and Celia assistance, with requirements that vary by function and paired phone. Third-party apps are downloaded through HUAWEI Health's watch app market, and some are unavailable with iOS. Celia needs a network connection; when paired with an iPhone, it uses the watch's cellular or Wi-Fi connection rather than Bluetooth phone relay.
Outdoor navigation and water use
GPS uses both L1 and L5 bands, alongside GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS support. The outdoor exploration app combines route import from the 两步路 app with a compass, flashlight, return navigation and waypoint retracing. Exercise modes include cycling, trail running, golf and freediving; skiing is announced for a future software update.
The watch supports freediving to a maximum of 40 meters under EN13319, as well as suitable pool and coastal swimming. Its supplied composite synthetic-leather and titanium straps are unsuitable for swimming or heavy-sweat sports, so use a suitable alternative strap for those activities. The 5 ATM and IP69 ratings do not make it suitable for hot showers, scuba diving or unrestricted underwater use.
Battery modes and wireless charging
Huawei rates standard mode for up to 4.5 days of typical use or three days with always-on display. With iOS pairing, those estimates are up to three days and two days respectively. Battery saver extends the light-use estimate to 11 days, but disables eSIM, Wi-Fi and several smart features, including Health Glance and maps. These are laboratory estimates; actual use and settings affect battery life.
Charging uses the second-generation USB-C wireless SuperCharge cradle. Huawei's 15-minute, one-day charging result requires the supplied cradle and a Huawei fast-charge power adapter supporting 10 V/2.25 A or higher, starting from a low-battery shutdown state. The listed package includes the cradle and cable; it does not list a wall power adapter.
Configurations and regional details
Choose Jupiter Brown for a brown synthetic-leather composite strap, Titanium Silver for a titanium strap, or Space Exploration for a deep gunmetal titanium strap. Space Exploration is thicker and slightly heavier than the other two finishes and includes an additional black fluoroelastomer strap. All three choices are the 46mm Chinese-market model; the exact dimensions and package differences are listed below.
At IVORION, these choices are presented as complete watch configurations, so the selected finish determines its matching strap and package. Before choosing this CN Version, consider its regional apps, carrier requirements and paired-phone limitations. Features announced for later updates should be treated as future capabilities until the relevant update is available.

- eSIM service: Carrier-managed number-sharing or standalone-number service; activation, availability, coverage and fees depend on the carrier. The applicable Huawei activation guide covers mainland-China carriers and does not establish compatibility with carriers elsewhere.
- eSIM service differences: Number-sharing uses the phone's number and plan and does not support independent SMS. Standalone-number service uses its own number and plan for calls, SMS and network access. With number-sharing active, a paired phone connection turns off the watch's eSIM mobile network.
- Watch and phone finding: Both devices need network access. Precise finding requires a compatible NearLink phone; near-distance precise distance indication is announced for a future software update.
- Car key: Requires a compatible vehicle software update and is unavailable with iOS pairing. NearLink gesture vehicle control is limited to the MAEXTRO S800.
- Tap payment: Requires the watch Alipay app and a linked Alipay account. After watch vibration, payment or password confirmation is required; the experience depends on the receiving terminal's model and software version. NFC hardware alone does not establish payment-service availability in other regions.
Software and phone compatibility
- Operating system: HarmonyOS 7.0.
- Compatible phone systems: HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, Android 9.0 or later, and iOS 13.0 or later. Individual functions have additional requirements.
- Third-party apps: Downloaded through the watch app market in HUAWEI Health. Some apps are unavailable with iOS pairing.
- Celia: Requires a network connection through the watch's eSIM or Wi-Fi, or through a Bluetooth-connected phone. With iOS pairing, only cellular and Wi-Fi connections are supported. Answers are informational.
- Celia suggestions: Global tasks, commute overview, important days and notification summaries require a phone running HarmonyOS 6.0 or later.
- Live Window: Requires a Huawei phone running HarmonyOS 4 or later and a supported app. Enabled by default and can be turned off.
- Smart gestures: Disabled by default until the gesture tutorial is completed. Close skin contact is required; tattoos and vigorous movement can affect recognition. Gestures are unavailable in battery saver, including exercise modes using battery saver. Wrist-flip control is announced for a future software update.
Outdoor and exercise functions
- Exercise modes: Cycling, trail running, freediving and golf. Skiing is announced for a future software update. AI exercise interpretation does not support outdoor exploration, skiing, golf or diving.
- Outdoor exploration: Route import from the 两步路 app, compass, flashlight, route return and waypoint retracing.
Water resistance and operating conditions
- Water resistance: 5 ATM under ISO 22810:2010. This is a static test equivalent to 50 meters of water pressure for 10 minutes, not a rating for actual use at a depth of 50 meters.
- Ingress protection: IP68 and IP69. IP69 is specified under IEC 60529:2013 and does not establish suitability for hot showers.
- Freediving and swimming: Maximum freediving depth of 40 meters under EN13319, with pool and coastal swimming within the stated limits. After water use, clean and dry the watch's surfaces and openings and activate its water-drain function.
- Excluded water use: Hot showers, hot springs, saunas and other high-temperature, high-humidity environments; exposure to shower gel, shampoo, soap or similar products; scuba diving, technical diving or diving deeper than 40 meters. If care products accidentally contact the watch, rinse with clean water and soak in clean water for 30 minutes. The manufacturer excludes immersion damage from these unsuitable uses from warranty coverage.
- Strap restrictions: Composite synthetic-leather, composite woven and titanium straps are unsuitable for swimming and heavy-sweat sports. Use a suitable alternative strap for those activities.
- Water-resistance maintenance: Water resistance is not permanent and can decline with normal wear. Huawei recommends periodic inspection and maintenance at an authorized service center.
- Operating temperature: 0–35 °C.
