Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy governs the processing, shipment, transit, delivery, and collection of all orders placed with IVORION. By placing an order with IVORION, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described below.

1. Shipping Availability and Methods

The shipping methods available for an order depend on the destination, item, package characteristics, carrier availability, and other operational requirements.

The available shipping options and applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before the order is placed.

IVORION reserves the right to select or change the shipping carrier or service when reasonably necessary to complete the shipment, improve delivery security, or address carrier availability or operational requirements.

2. Order Shipping Timeframe

The estimated timeframe required for IVORION to prepare and ship an item is displayed on the applicable product page, between the product title and the “Add to cart” button.

This timeframe represents the period between the successful placement of the order and the transfer of the item to the shipping carrier. It may include order processing, item preparation, packaging, and carrier handover.

The shipping timeframe displayed on the product page applies specifically to that item and forms part of the order information available to the customer before purchase.

If an order contains multiple items with different shipping timeframes, IVORION may wait until all items are ready and ship them together or ship the items separately at its discretion.

A shipping confirmation containing the available tracking information will be sent after the order has been shipped.

3. Shipping Timeframe and Delivery Transit Time

The order shipping timeframe and the delivery transit time are separate periods.

The order shipping timeframe is the time required for IVORION to prepare the order and transfer it to the shipping carrier.

The delivery transit time begins after the shipping carrier accepts the shipment and represents the estimated time required for the carrier to transport it to the delivery destination or designated pickup location.

Any delivery transit time displayed at checkout, provided by IVORION, or shown through the carrier’s tracking system does not include the order shipping timeframe unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery transit times are estimates provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed by IVORION.

4. Shipping Charges

The applicable shipping charge will be displayed at checkout before the customer places the order.

Shipping charges may vary depending on the delivery destination, selected shipping method, item value, package dimensions, package weight, signature requirements, security requirements, carrier surcharges, and other shipment characteristics.

Shipping charges cover transportation and related shipping services only. They do not include import duties, tariffs, taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, or other charges imposed after the order enters the destination country or territory.

5. Order Tracking

When tracking is available, the customer will receive a tracking number after the order has been shipped.

Tracking information may require additional time to become active after the shipping carrier first receives or scans the package.

The customer is responsible for monitoring the shipment’s tracking information, delivery attempts, customs status, pickup instructions, and any notices issued by the carrier.

Tracking updates are created and controlled by the shipping carrier. IVORION does not control the timing, frequency, completeness, or accuracy of carrier tracking updates.

6. Signature-Required Delivery

All IVORION orders are shipped with a signature required upon delivery or collection.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that they or another person authorized to receive the order is available to sign for the package.

Depending on the carrier’s procedures, the signature may be collected at the delivery address, a local post office, a carrier facility, or another authorized pickup location.

Customers may not waive the signature requirement or authorize the carrier to leave the package unattended. IVORION is not responsible if a carrier independently permits, processes, or follows such an instruction.

The carrier may require the person accepting or collecting the package to provide valid identification or satisfy other verification requirements.

7. Secure Post Office or Pickup-Location Delivery

For additional security, IVORION reserves the right to ship or redirect an order to the customer’s local post office, a carrier facility, an authorized carrier pickup point, or another secure collection location.

This security measure may be used based on the value of the order, delivery destination, carrier procedures, fraud-prevention requirements, previous delivery attempts, or other security considerations.

When an order is held for pickup, the customer is responsible for monitoring the tracking information, following the carrier’s collection instructions, providing any required identification, and collecting the package within the carrier’s permitted holding period.

Delivery to a secure pickup location does not constitute a change to the customer’s delivery address and does not entitle the customer to cancel the order or receive a refund of the shipping charge.

8. Delivery Address Requirements and Prohibition on Address Changes

The customer is solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address before placing the order.

The customer must verify all address information, including the recipient’s name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, postal or ZIP code, country, telephone number, and any other required delivery details.

The delivery address cannot be changed after an order has been placed.

IVORION will not change, replace, redirect, or otherwise modify the delivery address after the order has been placed, even if the order has not yet been shipped.

Customers must not request that the shipping carrier redirect the package to a different residential, commercial, or third-party address.

If the order has not yet been shipped, the customer may request cancellation in accordance with IVORION’s Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy and place a new order using the correct address. A cancellation request is not guaranteed until IVORION confirms that the order has been successfully cancelled.

IVORION is not responsible for delivery problems, delays, losses, additional charges, or returned shipments caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address information provided by the customer.

9. Shipping Carrier Delays

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, its transportation and delivery are controlled by the carrier.

IVORION is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or by circumstances affecting the carrier’s operations.

Carrier delays may result from circumstances including:

  • Weather conditions or natural disasters;
  • Customs inspections or customs clearance procedures;
  • Government actions or regulatory requirements;
  • Transportation disruptions;
  • Carrier processing or routing errors;
  • Labour disputes, strikes, or staffing shortages;
  • Seasonal demand or unusually high shipping volumes;
  • Security inspections;
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
  • Failed delivery attempts;
  • Remote or restricted delivery locations; or
  • Any other circumstance outside IVORION’s control.

A carrier delay does not entitle the customer to a refund, replacement, cancellation, reimbursement of the shipping charge, or other compensation from IVORION.

10. Carrier Loss, Theft, Damage, or Misdelivery

IVORION is not responsible for the theft, loss, damage, delay, or misdelivery of an order when caused by the shipping carrier or occurring while the shipment is under the carrier’s control.

This includes packages that are:

  • Lost while in transit;
  • Stolen during or after delivery;
  • Damaged while being transported or handled by the carrier;
  • Delivered to an incorrect person, address, or location by the carrier;
  • Incorrectly recorded as delivered by the carrier;
  • Left unattended contrary to the signature requirement;
  • Delayed, misplaced, or incorrectly routed by the carrier; or
  • Otherwise mishandled while under the carrier’s possession or control.

The customer must promptly notify both IVORION and the shipping carrier if a shipment appears to be lost, stolen, damaged, or misdelivered.

The customer must preserve all packaging, shipping labels, documents, photographs, videos, and other evidence that may be required for a carrier investigation or claim.

IVORION may, at its discretion, assist the customer with a carrier inquiry or claim. Any such assistance does not constitute an acceptance of responsibility and does not guarantee that the carrier will approve the claim or provide compensation.

Any investigation, reimbursement, replacement, or other resolution relating to a carrier incident is subject to the carrier’s procedures, evidence requirements, coverage limitations, and final decision.

11. Import Duties, Tariffs, Taxes, and Customs Fees

The customer is solely responsible for paying all import duties, tariffs, taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, clearance charges, and other government- or carrier-imposed charges associated with the order.

These charges are not calculated, collected, or included in the order total paid to IVORION.

The applicable charges are determined by the customs authorities, government agencies, shipping carrier, or customs broker in the destination country or territory. IVORION does not control or determine these charges and cannot provide a guaranteed estimate of their amount.

The customer is responsible for determining the import requirements and potential charges applicable to the order before making a purchase.

The customer must provide any information or documentation requested by the shipping carrier, customs authorities, or other relevant agencies and must pay all applicable charges within the required period.

Customs inspections, payment requirements, and clearance procedures may delay delivery. IVORION is not responsible for any such delay.

IVORION will not falsify customs documents, reduce the declared value of an order, incorrectly describe an item, or mark a commercial purchase as a gift.

12. Refused, Unclaimed, or Undeliverable Shipments

A shipment may be considered refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable when:

  • The customer refuses delivery;
  • No authorized person is available to provide the required signature;
  • The customer fails to collect the package from a designated pickup location;
  • The customer provides an inaccurate, incomplete, or undeliverable address;
  • The customer fails to respond to the carrier or customs authorities;
  • The customer fails or refuses to pay applicable duties, tariffs, taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, or other charges;
  • The carrier cannot access the delivery location; or
  • The shipment is returned for any other reason not caused by IVORION.

The customer remains responsible for all original shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs charges, brokerage fees, handling fees, carrier charges, storage charges, and other costs arising from a refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable shipment.

If the shipment is returned to IVORION, any refund will be considered only after the order has been received and inspected. Any approved refund will be processed in accordance with IVORION’s Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy and may be reduced by all applicable charges and deductions.

If the carrier, customs authority, or another party abandons, destroys, disposes of, or retains the shipment because of the customer’s failure to complete delivery or customs requirements, IVORION will not be required to provide a refund or replacement.

A package intentionally refused in accordance with the “Cancellations After Shipment but Before Delivery” clause of IVORION’s Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy will be handled under that policy.

13. Reshipment

If an order is returned because of an inaccurate address, a failed delivery attempt, failure to provide a signature, failure to collect the package, unpaid import charges, or another reason attributable to the customer, IVORION is not required to reship the order.

If IVORION agrees to reship the order, the customer must first pay all new shipping charges and any outstanding return, customs, brokerage, storage, handling, or carrier charges.

Reshipment remains subject to item availability, carrier availability, delivery restrictions, and IVORION’s approval.

14. Delivery Confirmation

An order will be considered delivered when the shipping carrier records that it has been:

  • Delivered and signed for at the delivery address;
  • Collected and signed for at a post office, carrier facility, or authorized pickup location; or
  • Otherwise delivered or released in accordance with the carrier’s documented procedures.

The carrier’s tracking history, delivery scan, collected signature, pickup record, photograph, location record, or other proof of delivery may be used to determine the shipment’s delivery status.
