HONOR Magic9 Pro Max is a Chinese-market smartphone with dual 200MP rear cameras, a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display, and an 8800mAh typical-capacity battery. IVORION offers four RAM and internal-storage pairs, with a standard package or a Photography Master Kit for the specified configuration. MagicOS 11 is based on Android 17; the regional software notice above applies to every offered configuration.

Dual 200MP cameras and ARRI CINEMA

The wide and 3.5x optical telephoto cameras both use 200MP sensors and optical image stabilization, while the 50MP ultrawide adds autofocus for close and wide compositions. The dedicated HONOR Imaging Chip H1 and ARRI CINEMA Mode provide additional tools for shaping video. ARRI CINEMA records up to 4K at 60 fps with 14 preset ARRI Looks and an 87-Look library that requires download and import; standard rear video recording supports up to 4K at 120 fps.

A 55MP front camera works alongside a 3D depth camera for selfies and 3D face recognition. Front video offers 0.8x and 1x framing, electronic stabilization, and audio focus. Photo resolution, zoom behavior, and available recording settings depend on the selected mode; the highest rear photo resolution uses High resolution mode.

A 6.8-inch display with adaptive refresh

The flat 2.5D OLED display combines LTPO refresh control with a 1320 × 2868 resolution, a DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and support for HDR pictures and video. Its 1–120Hz refresh range adapts to compatible content and apps, with 1Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz modes. HONOR Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield protects the display, while the body uses an all-metal unibody design.

Display settings include 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at low brightness, personalized display controls, and circadian and natural-tone options. These visual-comfort features are settings for everyday viewing; the phone is not a medical device and does not provide treatment.

Snapdragon performance and MagicOS 11

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 platform combines two Prime CPU cores with six Performance cores and Adreno 850 graphics. MagicOS 11, based on Android 17, brings YOYO assistance, translation tools, multi-window controls, and device collaboration features. Cross-device transfer requires HONOR Connect and supported devices, while some software and imaging features require an OTA update.

An 8800mAh battery and flexible charging

The battery is rated at 8600mAh, with a typical capacity of 8800mAh. Wired HONOR SuperCharge reaches up to 100W with the original charger and cable; the standard package includes a HONOR SuperCharge charger and a USB Type-C cable. Wireless HONOR SuperCharge supports up to 80W with a separately purchased HONOR wireless charger rated for at least 80W.

Wired reverse charging supports up to 27W with devices tested by HONOR, and wireless reverse charging is also supported. Charging power varies with the operating conditions. Do not charge the phone while it is wet; its dust and water resistance can decline through normal wear.

Connections with clear accessory requirements

Wi-Fi connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, with Wi-Fi 8 and 5GHz 2×4 MIMO requiring an OTA update. Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 8 each require a corresponding compatible router. Bluetooth 6.3 supports LE Audio, Auracast, and a broad selection of audio codecs.

The USB Type-C connection supports DisplayPort 1.2, wired display output, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer. USB 3.2 Gen 1 requires a compatible cable purchased separately; the included cable supports USB 2.0. The infrared remote transmitter does not include a learning function.

Configurations and regional details

At IVORION, the Standard package is offered in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB, each in Moss Green, Shadow Black, or Glacier Silver. In the Storage selector, the first capacity is physical RAM and the second is internal storage. The Photography Master Kit is offered only as 16GB/1TB in Shadow Black and adds the imaging accessories listed below; those accessories are not included with Standard.

This is the CN Version for the mainland-China market. Cellular service and eSIM activation depend on the carrier and its deployment; contact your intended carrier about supported services before choosing a plan. The phone can store up to two eSIM numbers, and using two China Telecom SIMs requires VoLTE service on the secondary card.
