The Mate XT 2 ULTIMATE DESIGN is a tri-fold smartphone with a 6.5-inch cover screen and a 10.2-inch unfolded OLED workspace. Kirin 9050 Pro, 16GB of RAM, and HarmonyOS 7.0 support its large-screen features. IVORION offers the Chinese-market model in the storage, color, and screen/package configurations listed below.

A workspace that unfolds to 10.2 inches

The inner OLED screen provides a larger area for supported multitasking, drawing, and document comparison, while the cover display remains usable with the phone folded. Both displays support 1.07 billion colors and the P3 color gamut. The inner display uses a flexible UTG structure; the cover uses Xuanwu Kunlun Glass.

The folding sequence matters: close the side without the volume buttons first. Do not fold the phone at −10°C or below, remove its original inner-screen protective layer, or add another film. Keep sharp objects and other items out from between the panels.

Standard or Privacy Screen

Standard versions use a 1–90 Hz adaptive inner display. The 1TB Privacy Screen and 2TB Privacy Screen + Stylus Set add hardware privacy protection and a 1–120 Hz adaptive inner display. Privacy protection does not cover the bottom viewing direction toward the USB port. Shortcut controls, application protection, and GPS-based privacy reminders require their applicable settings to be enabled.

Variable aperture and periscope photography

The 50MP main camera adjusts its physical aperture continuously from F1.49 to F4.0 and includes optical stabilization. A 40MP ultrawide camera and 50MP stabilized periscope telephoto provide different framing options, supported by a third-generation Red Maple original-color camera. Approximately 3.5× optical zoom, 7× optical-quality zoom, and up to 100× digital zoom are distinct capabilities.

Video recording supports up to 4K, with HDR Vivid and Log modes among the published options. The 1080p 960 fps slow-motion mode uses AI frame interpolation. AI pose suggestions work in Photo and Portrait within the 4× focal range; composition assistance must be enabled.

HarmonyOS and the stylus package

HarmonyOS 7.0 includes large-screen tools such as supported three-window multitasking, document comparison, and screen-recording annotations. Annotations require the HUAWEI M-Pen 3 Mini, which is included in the 2TB stylus set and sold separately for other versions. Some software functions require a HOTA update, a network connection, or supported applications.

IVORION keeps the screen and package choices distinct so the included accessories are clear before purchase. The 2TB set is offered in Brocade Purple and adds a stylus, its charging protective case, and related accessories; Standard and 1TB Privacy Screen packages have their own contents listed in Specifications.

Charging and regional connections

The 5600 mAh typical battery supports up to 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge and up to 50W wireless charging. Wireless charging requires a separately purchased compatible HUAWEI charger and an appropriate SuperCharge kit. With an official protective case fitted, rotate its stand to the horizontal position for wireless charging.

eSIM and satellite functions depend on carrier services. BeiDou messaging is limited to mainland China, excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and requires activation and an open, unobstructed environment. USB 3.1 Gen 1 data transfer requires a compatible cable; the supplied cable supports USB 2.0.

Storage labels show physical RAM first and internal storage second: 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and 16GB/2TB. Standard versions are offered with 512GB or 1TB in Dark Black, Bright White, and Brocade Purple. Privacy Screen is offered with 1TB in those three colors; Privacy Screen + Stylus Set is offered with 2TB in Brocade Purple only. The CN Version uses HarmonyOS 7.0, with the software limitation stated above.
